Michael David Rose, 30, of Escanaba, was sentenced to 28 months to 20 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections, following the entry of a guilty plea to one count of Delivery/Manufacture Methamphetamine.
On July 5, 2021, detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team conducted an investigation in the city of Escanaba. UPSET was able to purchase .2 grams or “2 points” from Rose near his residence. A subsequent test on the substance purchase confirmed it to be methamphetamine.
