The 2022 Par-Tee Fundraiser is in the books, and it was a huge success.
The Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres and the Board of Directors of the Gary Abrahamson, Jr. Memory Care Center (GAJMCC) would like to thank the community for their support of the 2022 Par-Tee Fundraising Dinner, which was held on April 7. The 2022 Par-Tee Fundraising Dinner was held at the Island Resort, Casino and Convention Center in Harris with cocktails, dinner and 18 different golf-themed games.
Guests also bid on and won many raffle prizes and silent auction items throughout the night.
“It was wonderful to have everyone gather together again at this great event, which raises money for a very worthy cause, especially since the event had to be cancelled due to the pandemic in both 2020 and 2021,” said Mary Uelmen, who manages the GAJMCC and works in the Mission Advancement Office at the Bishop Noa Home.
Uelmen said she would like to thank the entire community for their ongoing support and donations.
“We would like to thank our generous sponsors, anyone who donated items for the raffle baskets, all of the volunteers, those who purchased tickets, and the community at large for their continual support of the Mission of the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres,” Uelmen said. “Your donations have allowed us to continue to support the ongoing expenses of maintaining the facility, including utilities, insurance, and other expenses. We’d like to have everyone save the date for next year’s Par-Tee, which will be tentatively held on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at the Island Resort Casino and Convention Center.”
The Par-Tee raises money for the GAJMCC, a mission sponsored by the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres, and is solely funded by donations. Every donation helps, no matter the amount, and is seen as a gift.
If you would like to donate, please make checks payable to: GAJMCC and mail to: 2635 1st Ave. S., Escanaba, MI 49829 Attn: Mary Uelmen.
In partnership with Community Action Adult Day Services Program, the GAJMCC provides care for those struggling with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related illnesses and holds free education seminars for the community.
