Recently, the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce enjoyed another new member, Community Blood Center, and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Through a partnership with more than 40 local hospitals, hosting more than 100 community blood drives each month and providing regular donation opportunities at our local centers, The Community Blood Center is proud to serve patients throughout the Midwest. Most importantly -they couldn’t do it without their volunteer blood donors.
CBC provides blood, platelets, and plasma to Marshfield Clinic Health System – Dickinson, Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center and OSF St. Francis Medical Center allowing CBC the privilege to connect with the community. CBC has regular, ongoing blood drives to help meet the needs of these communities.
This helps to ensure a safe and reliable blood supply for local patients facing cancer treatments, surgical procedures, or the uncertainty of a traumatic injury. It is volunteer donors who help ensure that the blood needed is available for those in need.
CBC wants to say “Thank You” to their blood donors! By donating blood, your kind and selfless act helps improve the quality of life for someone in need of life saving blood. As a blood donor with CBC, you play such an important role in their mission of connecting lives and sharing life. They want you to know just how remarkable you are and appreciate you helping patients in our community.
