The Marquette Downtown Development Authority has announced the hiring of its new Executive Director, Tara Laase-McKinney. She will officially take over the job on Monday.
She has been with the MDDA for nearly eight years, serving most recently as Business Development and Promotions Director.
“Downtown Marquette is a wonderful place to shop, dine, and enjoy beautiful and historic sights. I look forward to continuing to working with downtown business and organizations and furthering the success of Downtown Marquette” she said.
Laase-Kinney takes over for Rebeeca Finco, who stepped down back in April. Finco had been the director since 2019, when she took over for Mona Lang after she retired.
